Rainbow Six Siege: Super Serious Shooter brings funny snowball battles for the holidays

Festive lighting, snowmen and decorated fir trees — such things are not necessarily associated with the tactic shooter rainbow Six win. But that's exactly how it attracts the new winter event.

What is that for an event? Normally, Rainbow Six turns to topics such as terrorist control, specialty units and missions around the world. But the new winter event is called Snow Brawl and transformed Rainbow Six victories into a wintry battlefield.

No rifles, pistols or explosive traps are used here, as otherwise you know you from the shooter's multiplayer battles. No, in the Snow Brawl, the weapons are called: snowballs and snow stout.

When will snow Brawl? Snow Brawl is available today, December 14th to the 4th of January. So you have three weeks time to blow your opponents with a neat pack of snow.

Two teams are dueling in the Rainbow Snowball Battle

How to run Snow Brawl: You can choose from two different groups:

On the one hand, there are the offensive Orange Blizzards consisting of winter variants of the operators Ash, Blackbeard, Buck, Montage and OSA. On the other hand, the defensive Blue Blades with Castle, Frost, Rook, Vigil and the latest operator Thorn stand.

These teams will then meet on the snow field in a capture-the-flag mode. The rules are simple: grab the flag from the opposing base and brings you in your own to get points.

The whole thing looks like a relaxed, funny affair. You can see this in more detail here in the trailer:

If you want to prevent your enemies from transporting the flag, a targeted snowball is suitable for your face. Three hits need it to make opponents and send back to the reaction.

Whoever has the most points in the end wins.

There are the following boosts on the map:

Running speed Fire rate Schnestauf ammunition

the deadliest snowball fight ever - Rainbow Six Siege (Snow Brawl) Bless you

What does the event still offer? In addition to the snowball battle you can also get winter cosmetics — either by completing certain challenge, or by using R6 credits or watching.

How do you find the new event? Can you inspire you for a round of snowball throwing? Tell us in the comments!

Rainbow Six Siege has already a few years on the hump. Mango editor Benedict Grotius says, however: a successor does not need it anyway.
